About AbbyBank in Weston
AbbyBank is proud to be located in the Village of Weston, Wisconsin since 2006. As the third branch AbbyBank opened, our Weston location is located on Schofield Avenue, at the corner of Alderson Street. The Weston AbbyBank building approximately 15 employees in the bank and also five other businesses in addition to the bank space. Our Weston location also features three drive-thru lanes with an ATM on location.
Weston is located in central Marathon County, just southeast of Wausau, along Highway 29. The Eau Claire and Wisconsin River border to the north and west of Weston. The area now known as the Village of Weston and its surrounding area was originally incorporated as the Town of Eau Claire in 1856. However, the name was later changed to the Town of Weston in 1859 when the town's boundaries were reduced. Then in 1996, the boundaries of the Town of Weston were changed again where the urban area was officially incorporated as the Village of Weston and the rural township areas were left as the Town of Weston. Today, the Village of Weston has a population of approximately 15,000 people and is served by the DC Everest School District with eight schools between elementary through high school, as well as an Idea School and virtual school all located within the Village.
