AbbyBank Donates Hog Meat from Shawano County Fair to Local Food Pantries

AbbyBank is proud to have participated in the livestock auction at the Shawano County Fair, where 4-H and FFA children proudly showcase their animals, including steer, lamb, poultry, rabbits, goats, and pigs. AbbyBank was the winning bidder for a hog, and the purchase not only supports the children’s hard work, helping with college savings and future agricultural ventures, but also fosters their practical business and agriculture training.

This year, AbbyBank’s winning hog has provided much-needed support for two local area food pantries. The hog was processed and delivered to Flo’ing with Kindness in Gresham and Shawano Area Food Pantry and Resource Center (SAFPARC) in Shawano. AbbyBank delivered approximately 90 pounds of meat to each pantry, consisting of ground sausage, chops, roasts, bacon, and more. These donations will provide much-needed support to families in the area who rely on these organizations for essential food items.

At AbbyBank, we believe in the power of community and giving back to those who need it most. We encourage others to support these incredible organizations and help make a difference in the lives of local families.
