Enhancing Health, Safety and Stability
The Hagar House was awarded $2,000 to assist with the expansion of their facility for single mothers in crisis. Funds will help support the construction of a garage that provides a safe parking area and includes new independent living spaces. The Hagar House is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering single mothers in Central Wisconsin through Christ-centered community, long-term stability, and personal growth.
Adaptive Communities received $250 to create a calming corner for individuals with sensory needs. This space will feature calming lighting, de-escalation tools, and a welcoming environment that allows members to continue socializing while feeling safe and supported.
The Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation, Inc. was awarded $4,300 to purchase portable X-ray equipment for their upcoming Mission of Mercy event, which will be held at D.C. Everest Middle School on July 25–26, 2025. This free, volunteer-driven event provides essential dental care—including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and education—to underserved populations across Wisconsin. Staffed by dentists, hygienists, dental students, and general volunteers, the event helps thousands receive the care they need.
